We have hosted a series of interactive opportunities last week for parents to engage with school staff and form relationships.
In Fun with Recycled Materials workshop, students and families worked together to build cities by using recycled materials. We implemented an idea of MAKERSPACE, a place opens for adults and kids, where people collaborate to share tools, materials, and expertise on hands on activities for making, sharing, exploring, and learning.
By hosting a makerspace as our first learning opportunity with families, we created an environment where strengthen students for the critical 21st century skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
