Dear P.S. 896 Families and Friends,
Welcome to the visual art classroom blog! My name is Ms. Bauman, or Ms. B, and I am your art teacher. I am so excited to see our returning students, and can’t wait to meet our new friends! This year, each class will have at least two sessions of visual art per week. We will be using a wide variety of art materials, including crayons, markers, paint, clay, found and natural objects, recycled materials, and more. Visit this blog page anytime to see pictures of art projects and our students hard at work.
We will also be using Artsonia, the fantastic and free educational platform, to document your child’s artwork. If you were here last year, you will not need to make a new account, and you will see that all of your artwork from last year is still available to see! If you are new to P.S. 896, you will receive instructions on how to sign up shortly.
