We’ve been having a great first week back! Students were so excited to see their friends, meet new students, and share what they did over the summer. We also jumped right into our emergent curriculum, where students got to explore various centers, such as researching animals, working together to build block structures, and drawing self portraits. Students have also been very excited to learn what it means to be 2nd and 3rd grade readers, writers, and mathematicians, while practicing the skills that they learned last year.
