We had a great second week of learning! Working hard at writing stories, math, learning about Spanish speaking countries, creating collages, and we got to enjoy doing our read alouds outside this Thursday and Friday. Looking forward to next week! Hope you all have a great weekend 🙂

Congratulations to Miss Amelia Iverson! She is the spotlight student of the week. Adriana did a fabulous job last week 🙂
Soon we would like to start taking some walking field trips to explore and learn outside. Please sign the permission slip in Opero. When you log on the form is under the eforms tab. Then you enter in information and when it asks for class write either first grade, second grade, or Miss Solano’s class, or Miss Abby’s, any of those are fine 🙂
Lastly, our google classroom page is all set up! Please check the page for weekly homework starting Monday.
As always please let me know if you have any questions. I am truly loving getting to spend each school day with your children. They are so curious and kind and remind me how fascinating and exciting school can be 🙂
Tuvimos una gran segunda semana de aprendizaje! Trabajando duro escribiendo historias, matemáticas, aprendiendo de países donde hablan español creando collages, y pudimos disfrutar haciendo nuestra lectura afuera este jueves y viernes. ¡Esperamos la próxima semana! Espero que tengan un gran fin de semana :) ¡Felicitaciones a la señorita Amelia Iverson! Ella es la estudiante destacada de la semana. Adriana hizo un trabajo fabuloso la semana pasada :) Pronto nos gustaría comenzar a hacer algunas excursiones a pie para explorar y aprender al aire libre. Firme la hoja de permiso en Opero. Cuando inicia sesión, el formulario se encuentra en la pestaña eforms. Luego ingresa la información y cuando le pide una clase, escriba primero, segundo o la clase de la señorita Solano, o la de la señorita Abby, cualquiera de esas está bien :) Por último, nuestra página de clases de Google está configurada. Consulte la página para ver las tareas semanales a partir del lunes. Como siempre, avíseme si tiene alguna pregunta. Realmente me encanta poder pasar cada día escolar con sus hijos. Son muy inquisativos y amables y me recuerdan lo fascinante y emocionante que puede ser la escuela :)
