In our third week of school, the students have adjusted well to our classroom routines! But we also have been doing a lot of fun learning! We’ve been reading the book “Rain” and each day the students learned how they can be great readers! They learned how to identify punctuation marks, new vocabulary, how to read words and how to retell the story. The students have also been working on their writing. This week we continued working on adding details and strong endings. We are excited for them to publish and share their writing with you. During our project time, we focused on how trees grow and the different types of trees. Some of our students brought in leaves, acorns, pinecones and twigs to share with the class. We sorted them out and talked about how different the leaves were from each other. Class 103 is ready for another fun week of learning!
