Your children have been hard at work this week practicing their reading and writing skills. As children are creating stories at both home and school, they have decided to share their original work with the class during our reading time. This has really motivated the children to want to create as many stories as they can, so they can share them with their friends.
The students have also enjoyed our project time, where they create unique structures with various materials. Some students have created 3-d designs, while others have experimented with balancing and shapes. The children simultaneously work independently and collaboratively to create their pieces, helping each other every chance they get. As the children learn about the world around them through these hands-on activities, they are creating relationships and supporting each other as a class.
