Another week of exploring and learning about leaves. We went on a neighborhood walk to Sunset Park to collect different leaves. We had a discussion about how leaves can be different sizes (big, medium & small) and then we sorted the leaves by size.
We also read the book Leaf Man and talked about how the wind blows the leaves off the trees. In centers students created their own unique leaf man and a leaf collage.
On Wednesday, November 24 we will have a Show and Tell about an object that is special to us and grateful for. Don’t forget to send it in to school with your child.
