A few weeks ago our class began our unit study on transportation. As a class we voted on what type of transportation mode we would like to learn more about. It turns out that the students had an interest in different types of construction vehicles. We have explored the excavator, the dump truck, a front load tractor and the bulldozer. We have learned the different parts of each of the construction vehicles and how each one has a different job. Students have explored books, looked at videos and have began creating crafts. We will continue to explore and see where this takes us.
