Happy Lunar New Year! This week Class 201 continued exploration of the origins and traditions of Lunar New Year! During our project-based learning, our children watched videos and read books to know more about the traditions and customs, such as lion dance, dragon dance, making twelve zodiac signs in order, and many more. Our children also had a great discussion about the story of the twelve zodiacs, sharing the story of their family’s zodiac as well as their favorite traditions of the Lunar New Year.
