This week was very exciting to see how hard our 3rd Graders are working in preparation for our Math State Exam. We have learned attributes about various polygons and how to find the perimeter. We have also found new strategies to calculate area by using tangrams and grid paper.
Our second graders had a busy week too! We learned all about Earth Day and why we have to protect the environment! We read various books together and made our own personal pledge to protect the environment. After we learned why our Earth needs our help, together, we used our opinion writing skills we wrote a letter to our school asking for change!
