Today our class had their Reading and Writing Celebration! The students have been working hard on their reading comprehension by making opinions about the characters and story. In addition, Ms. Mullany has been reading books from the Mercy Watson series and students were able to identify the characters, setting, problem and solution of the stories. For our writing unit, the students wrote opinions about the book they have read in class. This time, they wrote about the characters and comparing how or why the character were better than others. We are so proud of the progress they have been making!
