Students have been practicing jumping. We been jumping vertical and horizontal. They progressed from jumping short jumps to poly spots, long jumps to poly spots, over small hurdles, tall hurdles, pool noodles and using jump ropes.






Tips for Jumping Rope
- Keep feet close together
- Jump and land on the balls of feet
- Don’t jump high
- Keep your knees slightly bent at all times
- Look forward
- Keep elbows close to body
- Use your wrists to turn the rope not your elbows or shoulders
- Turn first then JUMP!
