This week the children have become reading scientists! Inside of their book clubs, they have begun studying how to improve their reading skills by practicing everyday, making a plan of action and holding their peers accountable. The children returned to school ready to learn and dive back into their work! We are currently writing letters to friends to recommend our favorite books to them and the children have been very excited to share their recommendations with everyone. The more books they read, the more recommendations they can write!

This week we celebrated the upcoming holidays with our Winter Concert, cookie bar and Santa gift giveaway. Thank you to all of our parents for everything you have done for our class this year, we appreciate your support!

The children have been working hard learning how to add and subtract multiples of ten during math class through interactive games!. The children have also been working closely with partners during writing to make sure their books are all ready for publication soon!

This week the children celebrated the approaching holiday of Thanksgiving by engaging in a school-wide Thanksgiving Feast event! We shared meals and stories as we spent time together as a school community.
