This week 2nd graders ended their reading and writing units by sharing their books and their small moment stories with their classmates. In reading, 3rd graders are learning how to understand the language of more complex books, and are editing their writing to make it the best it can be.
This week we continued with our emergent curriculum. Students explored their interests in structured and created bridges from classroom materials to test which ones could hold an object crossing over them. We also got to spend some time outside and enjoy reading in the beautiful weather.
This week we’ve been talking all about how to show respect to one another, whether by listening to each other in class, or by helping others if they are in need.
