Today’s celebration was a huge success! Thank you to our amazing students Thank you to the parents for your constant support.
This short week students have been continuing to make observations of the caterpillars and surprisingly they are getting ready to turn into a chrysalis. We are hoping for some butterflies soon. In the mean time students are painting butterflies and reading stories about it.
This week Class 201 focused on learning about the food chain in the Amazon Rainforest which consists of the sun, producers, primary consumers, secondary comsumers, tertiary comsumers, and the decomposers. Our children learned about in these categories there are different species like fungi, plants, and multiple animals that make up the food chain in that ecosystem.
We are continuing our study of the life cycle of a butterfly. We have read some books, watched some videos and made some observations. We hope to see some butterflies pretty soon.
As we continue our study of plants, this week our students used clay/Magic model to re create their observation of plants life cycle.
