Our class has been using Heggerty and Fundations to help with decoding words. It has been incredibly helpful for the students during Readers Workshop. During the week, we asked the students to write down the words they had trouble reading. Then they shared with their reading partners the Phonics strategy they used to read the word(s). The students have been doing well each day and we see the progress they are making in both Readers Workshop and Phonics!
