Week of March 14, 2022 – March 18, 2022.
This week was filled with lots of smiles and learning. 2nd Grade wrapped up our Poetry unit and we had our very own “Meet The Poet” event. 2nd Graders read their poetry to 3rd Graders as if they were at a “Meet The Poet” event. It was so nice to see how proud of their work they were, as well as how much positive feed back our 3rd graders gave them.
We also learned a lot about St. Patrick’s Day, and Irish traditions and history. Students really melted our hearts when we engaged in an activity that required them to name what meant more to them than gold. Many of our students chose their families!!!!
Lastly, we continued to explore water and make predictions. We will soon be exploring ways we use water in our everyday lives. Be sure to point this out at home, anytime you are doing something or using something that needs water to work.
