We concluded our “All About Us” Unit. Children learned about how we share similarities and differences. We learned about family and what makes our families special.

What’s next…

We will begin our new unit “Transportation”. We will explore how people move from place to place using vehicles. Children will compare how different kinds of transportation are similar and different.

Students created a vehicle using an assortment of shapes.

To enhance children’s learning in our “Transportation” unit we would like to encourage families to contribute these items: 

• Transportation related items such as old keys, Metrocards or maps to add to the Dramatic Play area
• Recycled materials such as cereal/snack cardboard boxes or toilet and paper towel rolls
