April Memories

As part of our Women’s History Month celebration, students researched influential women from history, including artists like Frida Kahlo and Yayoi Kusama. They explored their contributions, unique styles, and impact on the world.

After learning about Yayoi Kusama’s famous use of polka dots in her artwork, students created their own dot-inspired art pieces, drawing inspiration from her techniques. Each student designed an original craft incorporating polka dots to express their creativity while honoring Kusama’s artistic influence.

Through this activity, students not only learned about these remarkable women but also expressed their appreciation through hands-on artistic expression.
