📘 Math

Kindergarten:
We are exploring the concepts of more and less and practicing one-to-one correspondence using hands-on materials, games, and real-world examples.

First Grade:
Students are working on addition and subtraction in word problems, learning how to understand a story, choose a strategy, and show their thinking clearly.

✏️ Writing

We are becoming authors in Class K014!
Students are learning how to write their own How-To books, using clear steps and details. We are also practicing storytelling by bringing objects from home, using them as inspiration to tell personal stories with a beginning, middle, and end.

📚 Special Events

• We visited the Book Fair and loved exploring new books and favorite characters.
• Disney Day brought lots of excitement, costumes, and creativity!
• During Parent Family Friday, families joined us in the classroom. The students were so proud to share their work and learning.
