Family Friday
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for Family Friday this week! Your presence, creativity, and enthusiasm made the morning truly special.
Together with our students, we created beautiful winter art crafts that will brighten our classroom and bring warmth to our winter celebrations. Families worked side by side with their children to design adorable animal backdrops for our upcoming Winter Concert, adding so much charm and personality to our stage decorations. We also had an exciting time making snow globes, each one unique and full of glittering winter magic!
Events like these remind us how powerful it is when families and schools come together. Your support not only strengthens our community but also creates memories that our children will cherish.

PBL/Science Centers
Over the past few weeks, our students have been deeply engaged in an exciting Project-Based Learning (PBL) unit: “The Journey to the Red Planet.” Their curiosity, creativity, and scientific thinking have truly shined as we explored the wonders of space together.
We began our adventure by observing the Milky Way and our solar system using the science viewer, giving students a close-up look at the stars, planets, and galaxies that surround us. This hands-on experience sparked many thoughtful questions and discoveries.
Students also learned how Earth revolves around the Sun, investigating how this movement creates patterns like day and night and the changing seasons. They applied their understanding by sketching models, discussing their observations, and making real-world connections.
To bring their learning to life, students created detailed posters of the solar system, showcasing each planet and its unique features. The artwork and scientific accuracy in their posters were truly impressive!
This PBL project has allowed our children to think like scientists, explore big concepts, and work collaboratively—all while fueling their natural sense of wonder about space. We’ll be learning more about the solar system in next month.
