In January, we explored the world of wheels! Students learned about different types of wheels, how they move, and how they help us in everyday life. They created shape vehicles with wheels, completed observational drawings, and built cars using milk cartons.

We also took a trip to the parking lot to observe real car wheels up close. For our end-of-unit celebration, students designed wheels from recycled materials and raced them down a ramp. We even enjoyed snacks shaped like wheels to wrap up our learning. It was a fun and hands-on month!

As we look ahead to February, we’re excited to begin our new unit on bread! Students will learn how bread is made and explore the many different types of bread enjoyed around the world. We can’t wait to start this delicious new adventure together!
