Investigating Earth’s Power

Volcanoes and Earthquakes 🌋 🌍

This month, the children dove into the fascinating world of natural hazards 🌍, focusing on volcanoes 🌋 and earthquakes. Working in groups, they became young researchers collaborating, sharing ideas, and supporting one another throughout their learning journey.

With curiosity and enthusiasm, they asked thoughtful questions, explored different resources, and discovered how and why these powerful natural events occur 🔍✨

They learned about:
• The structure of volcanoes and what causes eruptions 🌋
• How earthquakes happen beneath the Earth’s surface 🌎
• The impact these natural hazards have on people and communities

In their groups, the children took their learning even further by thinking critically about real-world challenges. Together, they explored solutions and discussed ways to help keep people safe showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and problem solving skills 💡🤝

It was truly beautiful to watch them take ownership of their learning investigating, collaborating, and sharing ideas with confidence. Their excitement, determination, and cooperation made this experience both meaningful and memorable 🌟

To celebrate their hard work, the children attended a special showcase where they proudly represented our school 🎤🏫. They shared their knowledge, explained their ideas, and demonstrated everything they had learned with confidence and enthusiasm.

We are incredibly proud of their effort, curiosity, and teamwork it was an unforgettable learning experience! 🌟✨
