In April, our class began an exciting gardening unit, where students started learning about plants, how they grow, and how to care for them. We also celebrated Earth Week with a special project—students designed and created their own inventions! They had the opportunity to walk around and visit Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade classrooms to see the creative inventions their peers came up with as well.
As we move into May, we will continue exploring our gardening unit and deepen our understanding of plant life. Later in the month, we will begin transitioning into our new water unit, where students will learn about the importance of water and its role in our world.
