🌸 April PE Update (3K–2nd Grade)
Skill Mastery & Cooperative Play
April focused on refining skills and applying them in cooperative games. Students are now combining movements—such as running and throwing or balancing and catching—demonstrating how much they’ve grown since the beginning of the year.
🎯 Skill Focus: Object Control & Team Play
Students practiced:
- Rolling and aiming toward targets
- Underhand tossing with improved accuracy
- Kicking with control and direction
- Partner passing activities
Small-group games emphasized teamwork over competition, helping students build communication skills and confidence.
🌎 Outdoor Movement (Weather Permitting!)
As the weather improves, we look forward to incorporating more outdoor activities when possible. Outdoor movement allows students to:
- Practice skills in larger spaces
- Improve endurance
- Experience fresh air while staying active
🌟 Preparing for Year-End Growth
April is a time to reflect on progress. Students are demonstrating:
- Stronger balance and coordination
- Greater understanding of rules and routines
- Positive sportsmanship
- Increased confidence in trying new challenges
Our young movers continue to shine as they grow stronger in both body and mind.
