October Snapshot🍂

October was a month of learning, exploring, creating, and building friendships! In mid-October, we began our Tree Study, exploring what we already know about trees and learning about their different parts. Students expressed their creativity through autumn tree paintings, observational drawings, and leaf-printing activities. After reading Tap the Magic Tree, students created their own trees using beads.

We also celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by sharing what we learned about Mexico through our first performance. To wrap up the month, we enjoyed a fun Halloween costume parade! As we continue our Tree Study, we will investigate how trees change throughout the seasons and discover what grows and lives in trees. We look forward to another month of learning, discovering, and growing together!
